Huge ruckus was created by Congress party workers and Sanskriti Bachao Manch activists after the main gate of Kali temple of Arjun Nagar was closed by building a wall by the forest department.
After ruckus was created the wall was razed after two hours of ruckus created in opposition to wall construction. On Government land, the main gate of the temple was opened and due to which the Forest Department constructed a wall which raised the eyebrows of Congress and Right wing activists.
The temple is on the land of the forest department. On Monday, the forest department closed the main gate of the temple by building a wall.
The president of Sanskriti Bachao Manch Chandrasekhar Tiwari reached the spot soon after receiving information.
After some time Congress MLA PC Sharma, Corporator Yogendra Singh Guddu Chauhan staged a protest in the opposition. Heavy police force was deployed to control the situation. Sensing that control might go out of control, the forest department razed the wall within two hours of its construction.
SDO Sunil Verma, said that the temple is on forest Department land and it also has a gate on the back side but after the opposition wall was razed. MLA Sharma said that the inside temple Ankhand Jyoti is lit and without informing the priest they constructed a wall.
Sanskriti Bachao Macnh Tiwari said that around 70 years ago Guruji Shandila Maharaj established an idol in the temple and the building wall was totally wrong. Strict action should be taken against officials who ordered the building of the wall.
