Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has said that the Congress would not succeed in using people’s shoulder to get fresh lease of life. BJP State general secretary Vishnudutt Sharma in a statement here on Wednesday said, “Congress would not succeed in using others’ shoulders for its political lease of life. Had it been cultured in honouring people, it would not have indulged in such mistake.”
Sharma further said that the people of country standby with demonetisation and since November 8 when the demonetisation was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi till December 30 the people happily bear the problems due to it and showed zeal towards the profits of demonetisation and by remaining under discipline and decorum did not breached the peace. The people did not even get confused due to the misleading information and rumors spread by the Congress and other opposition parties, he added.
He said that it is the result of victorious attitude of the people and providing support to the demonetization and accepting it as a step for providing momentum to economical development the poor, farmers, laborers and middle class families have slowly started getting benefits of it. This has also made one thing clear that the phase of returning from demonetisation has come to an end, he added.
He said that the Congress is opposing the demonetisation to revamp its organisation and to awake the slept the Congress men considering demonetisation a chance to provide fresh lease of life to it.
He said that on the 50’th day of demonetisation the Prime Minister addressed the nation and told that there is enough money in the banks due to that the banks have provided relief to the consumers by reducing the interest on loans and the steps of increasing inflation have been stopped.
