The Congress women wing conference was organised at Kalyanji Garden behind State Bank of India on AB Road at Kolaras in the district on Wednesday.
Priyadarshini Raja Scindia, wife of Union Energy Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was the chief guest on the occasion. Priyadarshinin Raje Scindia interacting with the woman wing executives and activists and said that women play an important role in the nation building.She said that they could contribute in the development through casting their votes. She further said that women are comparatively but remain behind in casting their votes.
Priyadarshini Raje Scindia said that women play premier role in the development of the nation and even after reaching at the post of president of India. She said that she will make effort to provide proper compensation to the hailstorm hit farmers.The women executives and activists including former Bhopal Mayor Vibha Patel, municipal council chairperson Nisha Ravindra Shivhare, block woman Congress president Mewa Bai Kushwaha.
Vice president Basanti Bai Kushwaha, corporators including Sulochana Gaud, Gayat, Gayatri Chandel, Radha Dhanuk, Nisha Begum, Shantibai Sen and several other were present on the occasion. The women took pledge to cast their votes. Meanwhile, local MP and Union energy minister Jyotiraditya Scindia interacted with the local traders on development of Shivpuri at Utsav Vatika in the district on Thursday.
Scindia was the chief guest whereas chamber of commerce president Deewan Arvind lal presided over the programme, Dr Ramkumar Shivhare, Tejmal Sankhala, Rajkumar Jain and Ganeshilal were the guests of honour on the occasion. Social activist Vijay Jain and Mridul Jain had invited Scindia to interact with the traders community about traders community about development of Shivpuri on Thursday evening.
Jyotiraditya Scindia addressing on the occasion said that he is following foot prints of his father late Madhavrao Scindia. He said that his only target is to serve the society and will continue to give shelter to the residents of the area. The speakers in the programme commended Scindia and said that he is a competent public representative. They also said that there is no any alternative for development and peace. Social activist Rajkumar Jain andvised the other political parties that they should not field candidates against Scindia. Rakesh Jain Amol coordinated the programme whereas Ramkrishna Mittal proposed vote of thanks.
