launching fresh round of Congress party’s Parivartan Yatra from Ichhawar tehsil of Sehore district on Monday, leader of Opposition in State Assembly Ajay Singh alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is surprised to witness the unity of Congress leaders.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Kantilal Bhuria who was earlier scheduled to be present at the inaugural ceremony could not participate due to a meeting with Union Home Minister and Railway Minister in New Delhi.
Ajay Singh addressed public meetings at Ichhwar and ladkai in Sehore and Khandwa districts.
Addressing the meetings, Singh said that the common people of the state were deeply distressed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government and they have made firm decision to dislodge the Government. There is a wave of change of guard in the State, he said.
“People should not reelect the BJP legislators who are busy in minting money keeping aside every concern of development and common welfare. People should walk shoulder to shoulder with the wave of change in the state as only this wave will bring development in the state,” he said.
“The BJP government has not done anything for welfare of people in the state, which is why it indulges in the wrong propaganda that there is lack of unity in the state Congress,” he said, adding, “There is complete unity among the party leaders in Congress.”
Urging the party workers to work with dedication top expose misdeeds of State government, Singh claimed that the parivartan yatras are successfully accomplishing the mission of uprooting BJP.
