Cong suffers from Modi phobia: Shah

Accusing the Congress of suffering with Prime Minister Narendra Modi phobia, BJP president Amit Shah said that the Congress wants to get rid of Narendra Modi while we want to remove poverty, unemployment and darkness.

Addressing an election rally at Narsinghpur, Shah quoted a Whatsapp message from a journalist saying the scribe claimed that he heard a speech of Congress president Rahul Gandhi in which Gandhi mentioned Modi 44 times in a 22 minute speech.

“I am not sure he is campaigning for his party or mine,” Shah said laughing. They (Congress) have developed a phobia against Modi, he claimed. “They want to remove Narendra Modi, we want to abolish poverty, unemployment, darkness, illiteracy, smoke and insecurity,” claimed the BJP president.

Would you like to vote BJP to power which has given Ladli Laxmi yojana, cooking gas, houses, power and roads or the Congress, Shah questioned.

Attacking the Congress president Rahul Gandhi further Shah claimed Rahul Baba was daydreaming of forming the government in Madhya Pradesh. Saying this he numbered out states where the BJP emerged victorious after 2014.

Calling MPCC president Kamal Nath an exhausted politician, Shah said Nath seeks details of achievements of PM Modi, asking him to pick figures and see himself. UPA had allotted budget of Rs 134000 cr while the BJP after coming to power hiked it to Rs 344000 cr.

Shah named many schemes including Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Bank, Make In India, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and others saying the Modi Government besides offering MP Rs four lakh cr works has extended benefits of 129 schemes.

“At Narsinghpur alone, we brought 3.76 lakh hectare land under irrigation, offered 1.16 lakh Soil Health Cards, offered 31,600 power connections, built toilets in 131000 homes, offered houses to 36,000 families and offered 76,000 cooking gas connections and they ask us to offer details of works,” he added.

The BJP chief asked Kamal Nath to instead offer details of development that took place in four generation of rule by the Gandhi family.

Attacking UPA government, Shah said earlier the terrorists intruded freely in the country and returned after triggering blasts.
