Seeking an apology from the BJP national vice-president Prabhat Jha over his alleged statement that the bomb hoax in Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra cavalcade could be a Congress’s hand, the Congress on Thursday warned that if the saffron leader failed to do so, the party would be forced to take legal action against him.
Stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party leader has lost his mental balance Congress spokesperson JP Dhanopia advised that his unrestrained statement would only hurt the party and said that Jha was trying to divert the enmity between him and the State Chief Minister. In a statement here, Dhanopia said that everybody in the State were aware about the enmity between Jha and Chouhan, and how desperate he was to take revenge against the Chief Minister. The BJP leader was so upset with Chouhan when he was removed from the post of State BJP president in a ‘ungraceful manner’ and he wanted to take revenge, the Congress spokesperson said.
The people of the State knew very well that the pattern of bomb culture was BJP not the Congress that is carrier of Gandhi ideology, he added. Terming Chouhan’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra before the forthcoming State Assembly elections on the Government expenses ‘totally wrong’ Dhanopia alleged that that Chief Minister was utilising public money for BJP publicity campaign. He also said all the Government machineries were forced to pull crowd for the public meetings held during the Yatra. He said that if the Chief Minister had little bit of conscience than he should have immediately given up using the Government machineries on his Yatra.
