Cong ruckus in House over MPPEB scam

Published on:

Demanding resignation of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan over Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam, the main Opposition party, Congress, created a furore and disrupted the proceedings of the ongoing Budget session of the Assembly on Monday. Following this, Speaker Sitasharan Sharma adjourned the House for 15 minutes.

After the Question Hour ended, and the Zero Hour was to begin, leader of the Opposition Satyadev Katare, along with Ramniwas Rawat and Sunderlal Tiwari, vociferously demanded copies of the Excel sheet (on the basis of which the charge-sheets are being filed in MPPEB scam) which were appearing prominently in the newspapers and sought Chouhan's clarification on it.
