Continuing tirade against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan over infamous Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination (MPPEB) scam, the State Congress questioned if the selection and appointment system was transparent as claimed by him then why an FIR has been registered in the Transport Constables Recruitment Examination 2012.

Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief spokesman KK Mishra in a statement on Saturday asked the Chief Minister and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh that if the selection and appointment procedure was transparent as claimed by them than as to why the STF registered FIR in the Transport Constables Recruitment Examination 2012. Why the STF is not revealing the names of 39 personals against whom the FIR has been registered, he asked.

Mishra said, “Its four days since the STF registered FIR against 39 personals in the in the Transport Constables Recruitment Examination 2012 but why it is not revealing the names. We demand that STF should immediately make public all the names against whom FIR has been registered.”

Mishra added that why STF spared those two IPS officers who are the stage manager of this whole mega scam, of them one IPS officer is relative of chief minister while the other one paid bribe of Rs 5 crore for becoming Transport Commissioner.

He said that STF like other scams happened in the examinations conducted by the MPPEB registered FIR against the candidates, who became victim of the system of pay money and get posting. Nut the stage managers of the whole mega scam are still out of the ambit of law. The STF should reveal the names of all white collared persons involved in the mega scam including current and former Minister only than the investigations carried out by it would be considered impartial, he added.

The senior Congress leader said that the Chief Minister claimed in the Assembly that nothing unlawful was done in the selection and recruitment of Transport Constables while the Transport Minister made similar claims by calling a Press conference after the Congress alleged the same. If the CM and the Transport Minister are right than what irregularities does STF see in it and why it registered FIRIJ Why the bigmouthed Chief Minister is now silenced, he questioned.
