Attacks on PWD Minister Rampal Singh have been intensified by the Congress as protests by women Congress and Youth Congress members were witnessed outside Rampal’s house on Tuesday.
Problems for PWD minister in suicide committed by his daughter-in-law are not going to get over soon as the protestors were demanding FIR against minister Rampal and his son Girjesh.
lead by District Woman Congress President Santosh Kansana, woman Congress protested at minsiter’s house. They were seen holding placards of ‘Mahilaon ko Suraksha do’ and offered bangles to the minister.
Kansana said that the women and girls are not safe in the city and shamefully BJP party which makes tall claims for security and safety of women and girls are found in atrocities against women and girls. The government is aware that the son of minister has cheated the girl whom she married which forced her to take extreme step of suicide.
The Congress corporator Monu Saxena along with other party workers and supporters protested and tried to enter minister’s house but were stopped by police using barricades.
Heavy police force was deployed to avert any untoward action at the minister’s place on Tuesday.
The protestors continued to demand on the lines of Congress for the suspension of PWD minister from the cabinet.
Congress seems to be fierce in its attack and this time and do not want to lose the opportunity of gaining political mileage at the fullest. On Tuesday Congress party instructed all the Congress MlA to remain present at the state assembly to raise the issue and demand minister’s exit from cabinet.
The protestors continued to demand on the lines of Congress for the suspension of PWD minister from the cabinet.
