Cong member Sunderlal Tiwari attracts ire of the Chair

Published on:

Congress member Sunderlal Tiwari on Thursday attracted the ire of the Chair when he tried to raise an issue by referring to a certain report published in a newspaper.

As soon as the Question Hour began, Tiwari hurled allegations against the Government by referring to the newspaper report.

A few other Congress members supported him and created ruckus.

Speaker Sitasharan Sharma urged them to calm down and allow the Question Hour to proceed.

As Congress members did not relent, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narottam Mishra and Home Minister Uma Shankar Gupta also began replying to them.

In the meantime, the Speaker warned Sunderlal Tiwari with strict action if he continued to disrupt proceedings. Following the warning, Tiwari sat on his place and the Question Hour began.
