The Madhya Pradesh Congress has alleged that the incident of fire at State Mantralaya in Vallabh Bhavan building on the fifth floor on Holi day is a pre-planned incident to destroy the records of corruption in Chief Minister’s Grant that is around Rs 3 to 3.5 crore.
Chief spokesperson of State Congress KK Mishra in a statement here on Friday demanded CBI probe into the matter.
The documents that got destroyed in the fire included Gwalior, Moti Mahal’s transport department and Vyapam scam. He alleges that it was a pre-planned move and must be enquired by the CBI.
Mishra further said that many whistle-blowers have asked for the details of grant of the chief minister’s discretionary fund under the RTI Act 2005, but they were not given any information as through many nursing home and middlemen, the scheme is being misused and the level of corruption under its head is high.
Instead of distributing funds from his discretionary fund in 230 constituencies, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has allotted the grant only in his assembly constituency Budhni and Sehore, alleged Mishra.
There is also commission being distributed among middlemen like nursing homes and responsible officers. This is the reason why the documents were burnt in the fire on the Fifth floor of the Vallabh Bhavan, he alleged.
Mishra has requested the Chief Minister to conduct a CBI enquiry in this fire incident, as it seems a pre-planned conspiracy and it has destroyed all the proof of corruption.
