The Opposition Congress has alleged that under Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule Union Ministers and parliamentarians are engaged in falsifications.
State Congress spokesman Ravi Saxena in a statement here on Tuesday said, “The BJP that does not get tired of boasting its ‘chaal, charitra aur chehra’ (moves, character and face), the BJP whose prime minister screams during public meetings that neither would I do corruption nor would let anyone do that in my rule that BJPs Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawar Chand Gehlot is claiming honorarium given to the MISA detainees through forged documents since years and got into top position by deceiving the party and people while the husband of other union minister Smriti Irani got priceless land of government school in Bandhavgarh National Park of Umaria district registered in his firm Morkez Hospitality limited and despite being the listed company in Mumbai showed residential as that of Rewa’s BJP leader Pragya Tripathi.”
Saxena further said that on the other side BJP’s Betul MP Jyoti Dhurve is contesting and winning from the seat reserved for Tribals through forged caste certificate thus deceiving the people and the Tribals. When the high level scrutiny committee of the State after long procedure termed Dhurve’s caste certificate as forged and forwarded it to the Betul Collector for legal action over it than after Chief Ministers’ order in hurry the same high level scrutiny committee of the state did review of her certificate and its previous order was stayed whereas as per law the committee does not have any right to review its own order and if some relief is needed against that order than only HC could grant that. But on the directives of chief minister all rules and regulations were set aside, he added.
