The main opposition Congress in the State Assembly has intensified its agitation against privatisation of electricity.
On Thursday, the Congress staged demonstration and youth Congress staged dharna at Seva Nagar.
The dharna in Seva Nagar was led by state president of youth congress Kunal Choudhary and the demonstration was led by district congress general secretary Saroj Mishra and Kamlesh Kaurav. The congress MlA from Rau Jitu Patwari and MP youth congress in charge and national secretary Keshav Chandra Yadav also participated in dharna.
The congress president Darshan Singh, Ex MlA P Tomar, Surendra Sharma, Munendra Singh Bhadauria and Jitendra Singh Bhadauria participated in dharna. A rally was taken out from Shivaji Park in which Madhavi Dige, Vandana Agrawal, Aruna Gupta, Rekha Shivhare and Seema Suryavanshi participated.
The electricity company is running in profit even than the MP government is privatising electricity. The employees of Electricity Company are also opposing the privatising.
It is alleged that private electricity company resort the goondism and indiscriminate electricity bill would be given to the consumers.
This was stated by the Aam Adami Party. The Aam Adami party staged dharna at Hemu Kalani Chowk in which Manish Sisodia, Vishal Ramkar, Anamika Sharma, Surendra Jaiswal, Manoj Singh Kushawah, KK Pal, BV Joshi, Feroz Khan, Ashish Dixit, Avinash Yadav, Sanjay Shinde, Pushpendra Parmar, Karan Singh, Vinod Rai, Gulab Singh Sengar and Shashi Bhadauria were present.
