'Cong has done little for Muslim community'

The Congress has has instilled a sense of fear among the Muslims. It has spread the canard  that if the BJP comes to power, the Muslims  would be severely suppressed, said BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain.

He added that now time has come that Congress should apologise to the Muslims because in its 50 years rule it has not done anything for the community and they have been living in a pitiable and pathetic condition struggling for clean drinking water, electricity and roads and education.

Speaking at the Eid Milan Samaroha organised here, the BJP spokesperson said under the Congress rule inflation has increased and the daily bread butter needs have gone out of reach of common man.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who himself a renowned economist, could not control the economy of the country and rupee is getting weaker day by day, he asserted.

He further added that few antisocial elements were trying to defame the community. Hindu and Muslims were two real brothers. The number of Muslims living in India is double than Pakistan and more than Arab countries, he said.

Pakistan is itself is so weak and it should take care of the internal disturbances of its own. BJP was the only party who gave equal importance to the Muslims. Sonia Gandhi, Mulayam Singh, Nitish Kumar and lalu Prasad Yadav always kept the Muslims leaders in back line and they had not given a single Muslim leader to reach to the height in politics in their entire career.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Industry Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya Mhow has done a tremendous progress in last 10 years, he claimed. More than 40,000 population of Mhow tehsil are tribal and even after Independence many villages did not have roads and electricity but today BJP can speak with pride that every village of Mhow tehsil has 24 hours electricity, roads and clean drinking water. Minister Kailash Vijavvergiya said that BJP Government had spent more than Rs 1000 crore for the development of Mhow tehsil in past 9 years.
