The ‘Jan Shankhnad Rally’ of the State Congress was held at Thandla in Jhabua district of the State on Thursday. All India Congress Committee (AICC) general secretary in-charge for Madhya Pradesh Mohan Prakash, former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, MPCC president Kantilal Bhuria and leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh besides other senior leaders of the State attended the meet.
Huge gathering of tribals was witnessed in the rally. Prakash addressing the gathering on the occasion said that the Government of robbers and criminals has taken hold of the State. The State was neck deep in corruption under the BJP rule, he added.
Digvijay Singh said that while Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was on Jan Ashirwad Yatra people were deprived of their reasonable rights in the State.
Bhuria said that there was huge difference in saying and doing of the BJP Government. It showed something and did another thing. Chief Minister was misleading the people by labelling centre’s schemes in his name, he added. Ajay Singh said that Chouhan was roaming to seek blessing of the public but ran away from the ‘temple of democracy’ Assembly from facing the No Trust Motion.
