Former State Congress spokesman Arif Masood in a letter to Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Babulal Gaur demanded arrest of those culprits who shot at his party Corporator in Ratlam and vice-president of the State Mahila Congress Yasmin Sherani.
Masood in his letter to Gaur said, “The firing at Sherani seems to be a conspiracy to destabilise peace of Ratlam town that needs to be investigated seriously, hence we demand immediate enquiry of the incidence.”
He said that on prior occasion also Congress leader RR Khan was shot dead in Ratlam and whole of the Malwa region is communally sensitive. This site of incidents increases tension and the minority community feels insecure. Hence immediate action against the culprits is also demanded, he added.
