A meeting of State Congress was held here on Wednesday at the party’s State headquarters to chalk out strategy for making success the proposed June 14 rally at Nasrullahganj, a part of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Assembly constituency Budhni.

The meeting was presided over by State Congress president and MP Kantilal Bhuria while the newly appointed All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary Bala Bachchan and leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Ajay Singh were especially present on the occasion besides other senior party leaders, elected peoples representatives, state office bearers, district in-charges, district presidents, umbrella organisations, departments and cells State heads attended the meet.

Bhuria speaking on the occasion said, “The public meeting and rally in Nasrullagunj is very important programme of the State Congress as the bugle to oust BJP from power in the State would be blown from Chief Minister’s Assembly constituency.”

Bhuria further said that the battle for change of power in the State would start from July 14 and would come to halt after the Assembly elections in November when Congress would come to power.

Ajay Singh said, “Ever since the Congress legislative party brought to light the illegal mining done by Sundhir Sharma through the no confidence motion in the State Assembly in November 2011, many cases of illegal mining are coming to fore. The morale of the illegal mining mafia is so high in the State that they do not even hesitate in manhandling the Government officials.”

Singh further said that the mining mafia even murdered an IPS officer in Morena. There is no control over illegal sand mining in Chief Ministers’ Assembly constituency. There Shiva Corporation is ruling and the people are saying that the Shiva Corporation is in real Shivraj Corporation. It is surprising that how the mining mafia is getting licenses and under what basis, he added.
