After the shocking defeat of Congress in the Assembly elections its defeated leaders have started opening up their mouth. Most of the loser candidates hold internal sabotage responsible for their defeat while some hold administration and tampering of Electronic Voting Machine responsible for their poor performance. Some of them also hold weak organisation responsible for the defeat.

The defeated candidates of the Congress from Bhopal speak out the reasons they considered are responsible for their defeat. Arif Masood who lost from Bhopal Madhya Assembly constituency said, "The administration did not seriously take the complaints of EVM tampering due to that the election result was affected. Besides, some of the Congress leaders have also done sabotage." Masood further said that the administration also did not listen the Congress workers plaints. Congress leadership failed to expose BJP's lies in the public, he added.

"However, I would remain in the public and would continue to raise the issues and take up their problems to the administration for getting them resolved," Masood added. Sanjeev Saxena loser from Bhopal Dakshin- Pashchim hold administration and internal sabotage responsible for his defeat. "The administration was negligent towards voting and some of the local leaders also worked against me," Saxena said.

He said that the EVMs that were not functioning well were not replaced, "I personally brought to the notice of the senior administrative officers about the malfunctioning of the EVMs but they did not paid any heed to it, he added.

He said that as I have made promises with the people hence would remain with them and would continue raising public issues. Sunil Sood who lost for the second consecutive term from Narela hold party organisation and workers responsible for his defeat. A former mayor Sood said, "The negligence of party organisation and the workers cost dear to me. Though, I also could not get much time for campaigning as the ticket was provided very late. EVM tampering was also done besides sabotage by local leaders."

Govind Goyal loser from Govindpura hold weak party organisation responsible for the defeat and said that the party should now focus on strengthening the organisation. He also held EVM, administration and internal sabotage by local leaders responsible for his defeat.

Similar were the views of Rajendra Mandloi who lost from Huzur and Mahesh Ratnakar who lost from Berasia. Both these losers also hold EVM, administration and internal sabotage responsible for their defeat.
