Cong blames BJP for rising crime

State Congress has alleged that Indore has become a city of scams, bungles and crime during the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rule in the state.

leader of opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh while addressing Congress party’s divisional no-trust meeting against the BJP government of the state in Indore on Sunday said, “Indore earned a good name in the country as the commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh has now become notorious for scams, bungles and crime.”

Singh further listing the scams that brought bad name for the commercial capital of the state including Sugni Devi scam, pension scam and land scam  said that whenever these scams are mentioned the name of the Industries minister of the state Kailash Vijayvargiya floats in front of the people if the state and particularly in the eyes of Indore residents.

He said that avoiding discussion in the assembly over no-trust motion is not a ordinary incidence, the government might have succeeded in avoiding discussion over it in the assembly but would it succeed in avoiding to reply the 7.5 crore people of the state over the allegations leveled against his near and dear ones.

lamenting the chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan the leader of opposition said that with his misdeeds Chouhan has defaced the state. By making false claims he might have succeeded in fooling the people for time being but has pushed the state into the pit of corruption, adultery, outrage and mismanagement. It was due to the patronage of the chief minister that the kingpin of the PMT scam   was found to be a native of Indore. The people of the state are not going to spare the chief minister and his ministers who do not even hesitate in playing with the future of the youth, he added.

He said that we wished to discuss the scams, bungling and corruption prevailing in the state in the assembly but the government fearing that it would get exposed ran away from the discussion, now the people of the state would seek answer of the questions that were featured in the no trust motion and the BJP government would have to reply them. The BJP stands exposed before the people of the state and they would give BJP a befitting reply in the assembly elections scheduled later in the year, he added.
