Cong: BJP has no moral right to question Rahul

The Congress on Thursday ridiculed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) questioning Rahul Gandhi and alleged that the BJP is neck deep in corruption, does not have any moral right to ask questions from the Congress vice president.

Chairman — Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (Assembly Elections media committee) and MP Premchand Guddu while talking to mediapersons in Indore asked the Chief Minister as to why currency counting machine has been placed at his residence. “The most corrupt Government of Madhya Pradesh does not have any right to ask questions from the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi. The BJP asking questions with the Congress leader is like thief’s scolding policemen.”

Guddu further said that the five simple questions asked by the BJP are mockery with the people of Madhya Pradesh, as this is election time in the state and it is BJP that is in power in the State from the past ten years. The time is for the BJP to respond to people’s query over scams and corruption it has done in the State during the last ten years besides the false promises it made with the people, he added.

He said that it appears that the BJP leaders have forgotten that the parliamentary elections would be held in 2014 and now in the 2013 it is Assembly Elections and the BJKP that is in power in the state since 2003 has to give account of its ten years deeds to the people of the State. The Assembly Elections referendum would be based on the corruption done by the BJP during the past ten years in the state and the people would for sure teach a lesson to it, he added. He said that the BJP talks of purity in politics but its acts are just opposite to it and it has crossed all the limits of meanness.
