A complaint against the illegal collection of parking charge was registered on Tuesday.Notably, parking charges were being collected illegally at the paid parking lots at DB Mall, Surendra Vilas, and Vishal Mega Mart against which complaints were registered on Tuesday.
The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) keeping in view providing better parking facilities to the citizens constructed paid parking lots at various areas of the city. At the places like DB Mall, Surendra Vilas and other areas of MP Nagar, BMC established paid parking lots and collect money from the citizens. But, few people are taking advantage of it and are collecting illegal parking money in the name of BMC.
After a proper investigation, by the ward in-charges of ward 8 and ward 43, it was found that few persons were collecting money from the citizens illegally as parking charge in the name of BMC. Notably, a stern step will be taken against the persons namely Prince Rathore, Rajesh Malviya, Vikas and Akash. These four people used to collect the parking money illegally.
The complaint is registered at MP Nagar police station. Moreover, the parking contact period of Vishal Mega Mart is already over on March 18. But the contractor Imtiyaz Ali has not submitted the Hand Held Device yet in the ward office. And an illegal parking money collection was also done at Vishal Mega Mart by Ramesh and Nafees. A complaint is also registered against them at the MP Nagar police station. Notably, as a consequence, the ward in-charges have confiscated the hand held devices from the collectors.
