Former teacher of Maharishi Vidya mandir, who has been accusing Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Information Technology Institute Secretary Girish Verma of sexual harassment, had to return empty handed from the Mahila Police Station.
The police officials claimed that they would register FIR only after probing the matter.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Seema Patel of the police station informed that the police would proceed in the matter only if they receive order from senior authorities.
Meanwhile, the statements of the teacher were recorded, while one of the alleged accused Mahesh Yogi Institute Director BN Goswami also appeared before the police and recorded his statements.
The Director said that the teacher has unnecessarily dragged his name as well as that of the four other officials of the institute along with Girish Verma, in the matter.
Denying the allegations as completely baseless, Goswami said that he did not even know the teacher. Referring to the press conference at Hotel Residency in which her name was disclosed, Goswami said that he was present there, only as an observer.
He also said that beyond the limited role of an observer he had nothing to do with the press conference.
Contradicting the claims of the Director, the lady teacher said that Goswami also participated in the press conference. She also submitted evidences to the police showing his presence as well as to the media persons present on the occasion.
