As the Bhopalites are enjoying various adventurous activities at Bhoj Adventure Fest 2015 with a lot of enthusiasm, various competitions will be organised for the masses on Saturday and Sunday. Here on Saturday, ‘Chariot Race’ will be organised at 3 pm. The race will start from Gauhar Mahal till Khanugaun Square. On the same day, ‘Camel Race’ will be organised at 4 pm and lastly at 5 pm ‘Vintage Car Rally will be held at Shahpura lake.
Here on Sunday, boat race, dragon race, and donga race will be held at 9 am at Boat Club. The participation charges will not be taken. Enthusiast citizens can contact at 9424499690 and 9424495899. With the objective of developing penchant among youngsters towards daring sports, the 'Bhoj Adventure Fest' got underway at Kaliasot dam. The adventure fest features balloon, para sailing, para motoring, bungee jumping, water surfing, tracking, rowing, canoeing, rock climbing, rappelling, banana ride, rifle shooting, cycling, and many more.
The event is being organized by Bhopal Tourism Promotion Council of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation in association with district administration, Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC). The Bhopalites enjoys the adventure activities like air rifle shooting, commando drill, bull riding, paint ball shooting, archery, wall climbing, all-terrain vehicle drive, speed boating and pedal boating.
Meanwhile, the skies above Madhya Pradesh got dotted with colourful hot air balloons as the first International Balloon Festival began in capital Bhopal city on Friday. A three-day festival, the initiative has been taken as a part of Bhoj Adventure Fest 2015, to promote adventure sports in the state. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is also expected at the fest being held at city's lal Parade Ground. Flying enthusiasts from India and other countries are camping in the Madhya Pradesh to enjoy these adventurous sports like parasailing and paragliding.
