To make the Hawkers Food Festival more interesting, a competition among hawkers is being organised and under which each day ‘Hawker of the Day’ will be announced.
On the first day of the fest, ‘Mama Jalebi Corner’ was selected as the Hawker of The Day. On the occasion, BMC Chairman Kailash Mishra was also present and tasted the delicacies being served at the food festival.On the second day of Hawkers Food Festival, the foodies took the pleasure of a splendid rock band performance along with the tasty delicacies of street food.
Notably, the Hawkers Food Festival being organised by BMC to enhance the livelihood of hawkers by promoting and marketing their food is evoking a good response. Here on Wednesday a rock band ‘Ehsaas’ gave a mesmerising performance at Hawkers Food Festival making the food more enjoyable.
As many as 200 hawkers are participating in the festival and are serving the delicious hot food to the Bhopalites. Further, keeping in view the arrival of monsoon, the most loved snack of the season Hot Corn is also being served at the hawker’s festival and is in much demand. Other than this, delicacies of various regions like Rajasthani, Punjabi, Chinese, Mughlai, and more.
Not only this, the famous tea stalls of the city are serving their special chai at the fest and this beverage is in the top list of the foodies. Cool drinks like Coconut water and fruit juices are also available at the shawkers food fest.
This is not the limit for the Bhopalites to enjoy the hawker’s food fest but, a rock band show was also presented on the first day of the fest. Further, a magic show was also presented before the visitors.
