A committee has been constituted to prepare an action plan to supply quality electricity to power consumers, issue electricity bills on the basis of meter reading and actual power consumption only, reduce line tripping, reduce transformer failure rate and increase consumer satisfaction. The chairman of the committee will be the Managing Director, MP Power Management Company Limited, Bhopal. The Secretary will be the Chief General Manager (HR & Administration), MP Management Company Limited, Jabalpur.
The committee will complete all the proceedings and submit its report in two months.
First of all, after detailed discussion with all the non-government members on the fixed points, the committee will obtain recommendations from them in writing.
The recommendations and report will be prepared by the committee after studying the recommendations received from non-government members and the recommendations made by the team of officers after studying the best practices implemented by states like Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The report of its recommendations will be presented by the committee through Energy Minister Shri Pradyuman Singh Tomar to the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan for final decision.
