“When I paint, my colours tell me which next colour they need; every colour has its own definition,” says artist Sameedha Paliwal Saraf.
Sameedha’s paintings are on display at Alliance Francaise de Bhopal’s Art gallery and the exhibition is evoking a great response by the art lovers. The exhibition Epoch is all about the nature presented in abstract form. It will be at display till August 27.
Sameedha has portrayed the best of her imagination over the canvas as each painting describes the beauty of nature in most enchanting way. Sameedha says that she is into painting since childhood and loves nature a lot.
Sameedha does not think before about which colour scheme she needs to use over canvas, rather she believes that her colours tells her about it. “My technique is based on colours. Every colour has its own definition and I don’t want to spoil their character of colors. So I choose those colors for blending which does not affect each other’s character.”
Sameedha uses acrylic and oil paints over the canvas. She usually uses bright colours as she believes it adds life to the painting. Besides, every time she uses fresh colours she paints something. “My colours on canvas should look bright and fresh as they look lively to the spectator,” said Sameedha.
Elaborating further, she said, “I blend colours on canvas and use the flow of colours.” She says that each colour has its own existence as she pick up the colours from life, universe and nature.
