The colleges affiliated with Jiwaji University have informed before their inspection that they will not conduct some courses due to the less strength of students. These colleges have deposited the affiliation fee but denied for the inspection. In this connection affiliation of the colleges will not get void but they will be unable to admit the students. Twenty two colleges have denied conducting the inspection and this proposal will be present in the standing committee till it get decided. Colleges have informed about the reason not to conduct the inspection as there are no sufficient resources and the strength of students is not satisfactory. If they get an ample admission of students in next year then they will accept the inspection.
Jiwaji University have conducted the inspection for general course and affiliation of the colleges for Bed. Course. If the colleges will come under the parameters of UGC then they will consider for affiliation. These colleges have deposited the affiliation fee so that their affiliation will not get void and as the inspection will not get performed by Jiwaji University team so according to norms they should not take any admission of students in First Year. This will applicable for those colleges who are running 14 Bed. Colleges and 8 Colleges are under general course.
Professor DD Agarwal DCDC of Jiwaji University has informed that twenty two colleges have deposited the affiliation fee but refused to inspect their college. Generally these situations arise due to less strength in colleges. As these colleges will not give consent for inspection so their affiliation will be intact but they will not take the admission of First Year students.
Kaushal Yadav General Secretary of Private College Association has said that the strength of students have suffered due to Bed. Course is now reduced to two years from three years.
Another factor is the admission procedure has become difficult for the students. Now the situation of colleges is so critical due to less strength of students that it might be possible to close it.
