A BCom first year girl student of a private college allegedly committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance in Ratibad area under Ratibad police station area on Monday. The deceased student has been identified as Aarti Sharma. She was pursuing her Bachelor degree in Commerce from Kopal College. Sharma was rushed to a nearby hospital after she started vomiting and later she died during treatment.
Police said no suicide note has been found and also their family members expressed their ignorance why and how she took the extreme step. The father of the deceased, Vijay Sharma, who runs a grocery store in the area told that he was not aware regarding any reason behind the suicide of his daughter. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under Section 174 of the CrPC has been registered by the police.
