Meeting with coaching centre operators was held by MP Nagar SDM on fire safety and parking, a month's time has been given to them to follow the compliance.
After the death of three students due to waterlogging in the basement of UPSC prep centres in Delhi, strictness is being done in Bhopal as well.
Action has also been taken against 7 coaching institutes for holding classes in the basement.
On Saturday, MP Nagar SDM Ashutosh Sharma held a meeting of all coaching institutes. They were given a month's time regarding parking and fire safety.
Along with the police and administration officers, officials of electrical safety and the corporation's building permission branch were also present in the meeting.
SDM Sharma said, the operators of coaching institutes have been asked to rectify all the deficiencies in a month. After a month, the coaching centers will be inspected again. If the deficiencies are not removed, action will be taken to seal them.
One person will have to be deployed on every floor of the coaching, who will be able to guide to deal with emergency situations.
A display board of audit will be installed in every coaching. So that parents know how safe their child will be here.
Two-wheelers and four-wheelers will have to be parked in the multi-level parking located in Zone-1. From here, we will come on foot to the coaching centre located in Zone-2.
Parking facilities will also be provided in the basement. Classes will not be held here under any circumstances.
