CM's wife Sadhna Singh campaigns in Vidisha

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s wife Sadhna Singh also remained engaged with full might, in the campaigning for Vidisha municipality elections. On Sunday she sought votes for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s candidate for chairman Mukesh Tondon and Corporators. She was accorded warm welcome by the women members of the party.

She also held road show in favor of BJP candidates. Embarked in an open jeep her road show was started from Peetal Mil Square, she was accompanied by revenue minister Rampal Singh and Narela (Bhopal) MlA Vishwas Sarang. Her caravan reached Ahmadpur Road where women came out of their houses to welcome her and after that the caravan reached Sherpura where also she was accorded warm welcome. The road show came to an end after passing through Durga Nagar, Rajiv Nagar, Ramdwara and Haripura.

During the road show she addressed corner meetings in that she said that the BJP is not leaving any stone unturned for the development of Vidisha and in future also all round efforts would be made to make Vidisha a world class city.

It is for the second time when the wife of chief minister is seen campaigning for the BJP candidates, other than her husband. On prior occasion she was seen campaigning to Bhopal’s mayoral candidate of the BJP Alok Sharma who is a close confidant of his husband. During that election also she did road shows in the state capital and went door to door for garnering votes for the BJP.

Party insiders are of the view that this too she is campaigning in Vidisha because the party candidate for chairman is close confidant of Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
