The Congress party hit back on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan over his concluding speech at Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) State working committee meeting at Mohankheda in Dhar district on Saturday.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief spokesman KK Mishra in a statement here on Sunday said that the undignified language used by Chief Minister Chouhan against a senior parliamentarian and former union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is adverse to the dignity of the chair of head of the State.
Mishra said, “Chief Minister Chouhan who is accusing Scindia of possessing lands should also order enquiry in the Rohit Housing Construction Society.
The undignified language used by CM Chouhan and the politically motivated accusations of possession of lands leveled by him against a senior parliamentarian are adverse to the dignity of the post of the chief minister.”
Mishra further said that if there is any substance in the allegations leveled by Chief Minister Chouhan than what was the BJP Government in the state doing since last fourteen years and what CM Chouhan was doing since last eleven years as he heads the State Government since eleven years. Why this attack over Scindia when the assembly elections of the State are nearing up, he added.
He requested from the Chief Minister that today he is the head of the Government and if he has a little bit of truth and morality in him than along with Scindia he should also order enquiry of state capital’s Rohit Housing Construction Society in that scam of over Rs 500 crore plots took place.
This is also necessary because it would identify that who stands with the real honest political values and who is corrupt, he added.
