CM's do's & don'ts to new Ministers

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday gave tips to the new Ministers in his Cabinet about their behavior in public and working.

While talking to these Ministers during a Cabinet meeting convened at State Mantralaya, Chouhan said that after being inducted in the Cabinet, people would approach them and would like to have selfie with them. "I simply want to say that please do not allow any unknown person to have selfie with you, because there are people who utilize these selfies to show off their relationships with the Ministers and misuse them," he added.

This was the first Cabinet meeting after the Cabinet reshuffle held on Thursday. He congratulated the new Ministers and advised that three days in a week - Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays - they should remain in Bhopal. On these days, the legislators would be able to discuss problems of their constituencies related to respective departments of the Ministers.

He asked the Ministers to work properly, as their working would be reviewed every three months. For better development of the State, Chouhan stated that every Minister would have responsibility of at least two districts.

Development of the State would be assessed through monthly videoconferencing and once in three months through review meetings. He asked his Cabinet colleagues to work on the lines of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement - 'Na Khaunga, na khane doonga' (Will not let corruption prevail). "You should focus on eradicating corruption and development of Madhya Pradesh. I expect that your good work would bring success in the next election," he added.
