CM: Tribal regions centres of culture

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the tribal regions of the State are centres of our culture. This area is prosperous as the nature has provided fertile land, forest resources and mineral sources but due to some obstacles and lack of political leadership it remains backward.

Chouhan while addressing election meeting in Alirajpur’s Baleri on Wednesday further said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of the State has decided to quench thirst of fertile land of Aliraj Jhabua and a new Punjab and new Haryana would be created here.”

Chouhan further said that topography would not come in the way of bringing Narmada water. Technology would be used at its best. The Narmada water would be lifted through pipes and would be brought till Chako from where the farmers would take it to their fields through pipes.

He said history would be written here this time in this by-election as the daughter of the region BJP candidate Nirmala Bhuriya would emerge victorious with record votes.

He said “Congress should tell the people of constituency that what it has done for the development of constituency during its over five decades of rule. Whereas the BJP Government came to power in 2003 in the State and the people gave mandate to Dilip Singh Bhuriya of BJP. Since then the remarkable development of the constituency stated and the people got relief.”

He said that where the BJP Government by providing interest free loans to the farmers made them tension free at the same time encouraged them by providing ten per cent rebate in the repayment of urea and seeds loans. In the difficult time of natural disaster the State Government has postponed the recovery from the farmers. Relief and insurance is being distributed. Congress never showed such readiness in the times of natural disasters. Congress neither has any roadmap of development not its leadership has farsightedness this being the reason that Congress is fast on the way of disappearing in the State, he added.
