CM should take responsibility for farmers' deaths: Ajay

Published on:

The chief minister should refrain from negotiation and should take responsibility of opening fire at farmers and should resign immediately, said leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Ajay Singh.

Chief Minister has become a dealer of death and trying to compensate lives of urban farmers with money and if protestors were anti-social elements and not farmers and if police have not shot them they why huge amount of compensation.

The stains of deaths of farmers has blemished image of Chief Minister and to maintain his image he has turned into a trader and involved in negotiations as initially the compensation of death was announced at Rs 5 lakh which was increased to Rs 10 lakh and suddenly late in the night the compensation was raised to Rs 1 crore which proves that the instructions given to Mandsaur administration for taking firm action were of Chief Minister.

The home minister claimed of anti-socials elements behind the episode and denied opening fire by police and BJP state president claims that administration has opened fire and this contradiction displays real face of BJP.

Singh has raised question over PM Narendra Modi ‘s intention who resorts to twitter on every issue but failed to condole deaths of farmers in Mandsaur and on the other side he condoled the death of British citizens killed in terrorist attack over twitter.

It is sad that for the people of the state and farmers that Prime Minister have no concerns over the death of the farmers.

Singh expressed grief over deaths occurred in fire at cracker factory in Balaghat. He said that more than 100 persons died in Petalwad and district collectors were issued orders to check such factories with explosives but incidents continued to happen. On April 19, seven persons were charred to death in a fire broke out at a factory.
