Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings of banyan, jamun and tamarind in the garden located at Shyamala Hills. Muskan Raghuvanshi of Ashoknagar, who went on a cycle tour from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, along with Chief Minister Chouhan, also planted saplings. Khajuraho MP V.D. Sharma was also present.
Muskan has started the cycle tour from Sindra Camp of CRPF in Kashmir. She aims to complete the journey till Kanyakumari in 25 days. Journalist Ritu Sahu of Indore, and her seven-year-old niece Dakshita Sahu along with Chief Minister Chouhan, also planted a sapling on her birthday. Dakshita recited the verse ‘Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Shakti-Rupen Sansthita’ while dedicating the plantation to women power.
