Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted Sarika Indica sapling in memory of Bhagwan Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary.
Chouhan planted Ashok and Karanj saplings along with the members of Matru Seva Samiti, Bhopal in the Smart City Garden. Prabhash Verma, Sushri Bando Kaur, Rita Singh, Preeti Kanojia, Rajendra Sisodia and Naman of the Samiti participated in the plantation. This Samiti is involved in the activities of making women self-reliant and training them for self-defence.
The Samiti has so far provided tailoring-embroidery and beauty parlour training to more than two thousand women. The Samiti is also working continuously for the education of girls and women.
