Continuing his tirade against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other Bharatiya Janata Party leaders, the leader of Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Satyadev Katare, fired another salvo alleging that Chouhan, his Cabinet colleagues, a Union Minister and a former Minister of the State Cabinet are directly involved in the largest educational and recruitment scam of the country — the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam.
While addressing the media persons here Saturday, Katare alleged that two daughters of State Cabinet Minister Gopal Bhargav, one son each of former Ministers Ajay Vishnoi and Kamal Patel and son of Indore Mayor and BJP MlA Malini Gaud have got admission in the medical colleges dubiously. Katare alleged that relatives of many eminent BJP leaders are accused in the case registered as crime number 285 / 14 under section 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120 –B in Jhansi Road police station of Gwalior. The case registered on July 16, 2014 is under investigation, he added.
Katare said, “Those figure in the case include MPPEB former examination and controller and director Sudhir Bhadoriya who happen to be close confidant of a union minister. At present he is serving as director of GSTIS Engineering College Indore and STF is very much clement towards him.”
Katare further said one of the main accused in the case Gulab Singh Kirar who is close confidant of chief minister due to that has been rewarded with the membership of MP Backward Class Commission with status of state minister. After being made accused in the case he was denied of anticipatory bail from the High Court, making it sure that prima facie he appears to be guilty. Still STF is saving him and his son Shakti Pratap Singh who was unconstitutionally provided admission with the help of Bhadoriya in post graduation, proves that STF is under tremendous pressure, he added. He questioned that when after action against controllers and directors who served in the MPPEB from 2007 to 2013 some are still in jail than why so much of clemency towards Bhadoriya.
