'CM misleading saints to take political mileage'

Congress party alleged that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is misleading the saints to take political mileage. Chouhan who claims of running the biggest river conservation drive is not telling that Narmada is the first river of the world where maximum illegal sand mining is being done by the relatives of Chief Minister and other people associated with BJP under Government patronage, said leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Ajay Singh in a statement here on Saturday.

Singh said, “Chouhan is misleading reverend and sacred saint Dalai lama to take political mileage. The Chief Minister claims of running world’s biggest river conservation plan on Narmada River but he didn’t tell that it is the same Narmada River is the first river of the world where maximum illegal sand mining is being done that too under Government patronage by the relatives of Chief Minister and other people associated with the BJP.”

Singh further said that Dalai lama is respected across the world and misleading such a personality is an unforgiveable offense of the chief minister as he did not told the honorable saint   that through the Narmada conservation campaign Chouhan is doing campaigning of his party on government expenses on 96 assembly constituencies of 16 districts. The whole command of the Narmada Sewa Yatra is in the hands of RSS and BJP people. The chief minister is using government resources to campaign for his party in 96 assembly constituencies in the name of Narmada Yatra, he added.

He said that Narmada Sewa Yatra is a big pretense of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had he been real devotee of Narmada then he would have strictly stopped the large scale illegal sand mining on Narmada in 2005 only that was going on under his patronage.
