State Congress has alleged that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is misleading the people over the issue of development of State whereas the fact is that during his tenure State has suffered enormous destruction.

leader of opposition in the Madhya Pradesh assembly Ajay Singh in a statement here on Tuesday said, “Chouhan is misleading the people by spending crores of rupees in showing false and rosy pictures of State’s development, not only this he is also making false comparisons by spending tax payers hard earned money in false publicity.”

Singh further said that the chief minister should stop living in fool’s paradise because his lies are exposed and the people of the State are suffering with the destruction caused to the State during the past ten year rule of BJP in the State.

He said that of the current one lakh crore budget of the State 64 per cent is provided by the Central Government that the State was not getting in 2002-03.

Planning expenditure has been increased only by one per cent and the claims are of many folds through misleading advertisements. The chief minister is doing the crime of wrongfully spending public funds, he added.

Singh also wrote to chief minister and told him that he is misleading the people by doing jugglery of figures by publishing advertisements in newspapers by spending public money, this is an attempt to deceive and mislead

people. Quoting an advertisement published in newspapers on September 14, titled – ‘Dekho tarazu tol ke, BIMARU rajya anmol’ the leader of opposition said that the planning expenditure shown in the advertisement is wrong and of the amount of one lakh crore budget shown   64.60 per cent is provided by the centre, that is not mentioned anywhere, this is fraud with the people, he added.
