Chouhan informed that there are Rs3,000 crore liabilities outstanding against BHEl and this land has also been encroached upon. Chouhan urged that 1,125 acres of this land should be returned to the State Government so that auto testing track can be developed there. Anant Geete assured the Chief Minister of an early action on this issue by the Central Government.  Commerce and Industries Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia and senior officers of the State Government accompanied Chouhan.

The Central Government has already given sanction to construction of auto testing track. Chouhan said that if BHEl wishes to expand its Bhopal unit, the state government is ready to give acquired land free of cost to BHEl. Chouhan informed that BHEl has about 2,000 acre extra land.
