Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met delegations of International Enterprise and Singapore Business Federation at Singapore on Thursday. Chiefs of about 20 prestigious Singaporean companies were present on the occasion. It is noteworthy that Singapore Business Federation explores possibilities of investment in various countries and helps investors to complete necessary formalities.
Chouhan discussed major investment sectors’ investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh. Referring to State Government’s priority sectors, Chouhan said that new strategies have been chalked out to promote skill development, job creation and construction sectors. All necessary infrastructures for investment exist in the state. He informed that schemes to transform cities are being implemented. In them, guidance of city planners and experts of urban construction will be required. Regarding expansion of IT-based services, the Chief Minister said that work to expand public services by expanding virtual space is also being undertaken rapidly.
