In the series of panchayats of various sections of society at Chief Minister’s residence, Charm Shilpi Panchayat is being held on April 24. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will enter into direct dialogue with traditional crafts persons making leather goods in the State. About 2500 leather crafts persons from all over the State will participate in it. This is 31st Panchayat in the series.
It is for the first time that Chief Minister level dialogue of traditional leather goods makers like shoes, slippers, bags, belts etc. will be held. At the Panchayat, leather crafts persons will throw light on the problems of crafts persons engaged in leather industry and discuss ways to improve their craftsmanship and skills. Notably, before Charm Shilpi Panchayat, Mahila Panchayat, Kisan Panchayat, Adivasi Panchayat, Van Panchayat, Anusuchit Jati Panchayat, Kotwar Panchayat, laghu Udyami Panchayat, Khel Panchayat, Shilpi Evem Karigar Panchayat , Khetihar Shramik Sammelan and launch of Mukhyamantri Mazdoor Suraksha Yojna, Kisan Mahapanchayat (Jamboree Maidan, Bhopal), Nishaktjan Panchayat, Convention and honour of MISA detainees, Samanya Nirdhan Varg Sammelan, Construction Workers’ State-level convention (Jamboree Maidan), Machhua Panchayat (Jabalpur), Self-Help Groups’ Panchayat, Mandi Hammal-Tulawati Panchayat, Voluntary Organisations’ Panchayat, Shahari Gharelu Kamkaji Mahila Panchayat, Cycle Rickshaw Evam Haat-thela Panchayat, Vidyarthi Panchayat, Pheriwalahs’ Panchayat, Machhua Panchayat (lal Parade Ground), Senior Citizens Panchayat, Vakeel Panchayat, Yuva Panchayat (Jamboree Maidan), Mahapanchayat of panchayat raj institutions office-bearers (Jamboree Maidan), Kesh Shilpi Panchayat and Kisan Mahapanchayat (Jamboree Maidan) have also been held.
