Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and his cabinet colleagues have greeted people of Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Id-ul-Fitr.
In his message, Governor Anandiben Patel said that the Eid festival, besides strengthening peace unity and brotherhood in the society gives inspiration to help and share pains of poor and destitute. She has prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state on this occasion.
In a message, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan prayed that May Eid bring happiness and prosperity in life of all.
Chouhan further said that the festival of Eid brings happiness after the end of Ramadan month. Happiness of Eid multiplies several times after spending the entire month in worship.
Eid is a festival of humanity. The festival increases devoutness and teaches love.
Commerce and Industry Minister Rajendra Shukla has congratulated Muslim brethren on the occasion of Eid.
In his congratulatory message, he has said that this is a festival of unity and brotherhood and renunciation and people should take inspiration from it.
Minorities Welfare Minister lalita Yadav, greeting the people on Eid said the Holy Quran emphasises on belief, prayer, charity and good deeds. “let us resolve to promote brotherhood, unity, peace, love and compassion and join hands to create a harmonious world,” she added.
She further said that people should pledge to improve world peace, prosperity and religious amity.
