CM: Country has lost a visionary

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed profound grief over the death of former President APJ Abdul Kalam. Remembering the late Kalam’s services to the nation, the Chief Minister said that the country has lost a visionary.

The Chief Minister said that the late Kalam, known as Missile Man, had great foresight and vision about India’s development. He not only dreamt to make India a fully developed country in the world by year 2020, but also prescribed a concrete vision and guidelines for this. He was an ‘Ajaatshatru’ in the truest sense of the term. He proved that a person from a modest family background can make it to the highest office by virtue of talent and hard work.

The Chief Minister paid tributes to the late Kalam on behalf of the people of the State and himself. He said that sorrow has gripped the entire country due to his death. Chouhan has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
