Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced a major step toward accelerating industrial growth in Madhya Pradesh by establishing a new office of the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) in Ahmedabad. The announcement was made during the Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, held at Hotel Marriott in Surat, Gujarat.

The session proved successful, garnering investment proposals worth Rs. 15,710 crore. These proposals are expected to create employment opportunities for over 11,250 people in the state.

Yadav emphasized that ease of doing business, transparency, fairness, and strict adherence to timelines are the key pillars of the state’s approach to fostering industrial and commercial growth. He underscored that under the "Industry and Employment Year 2025" initiative, Madhya Pradesh is making remarkable progress in sectors such as heavy industries, MSMEs, and cottage industries.

Highlighting the industrial potential of Madhya Pradesh, CM Dr. Yadav pointed out the state’s favorable geographical location, expanding infrastructure, and innovative policy measures. He further mentioned that the state’s 39% agricultural growth rate, skilled workforce, and abundant mineral reserves make it ideal for sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and tourism. He assured investors that subsidies would be directly transferred to beneficiaries’ accounts under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, ensuring transparency.

Drawing a parallel between Gujarat’s industrial leadership and Madhya Pradesh’s growing potential, Dr. Yadav acknowledged Gujarat’s historical success and leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He referenced transformative projects like the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, and the revamped Kashi Vishwanath corridor, as markers of India's increasing prosperity and security. He also noted that diamonds mined in Panna, Madhya Pradesh, are polished in Surat, and cotton from Madhya Pradesh supports Surat’s textile industry, reinforcing the strong industrial ties between the two states.

Dr. Yadav’s address underscored Madhya Pradesh’s ongoing efforts to position itself as an industrial powerhouse, attracting significant investments for a robust economic future.
