Addressing an election meeting in Bandhavgarh assembly constituency of the State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that with the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Shivnarayan Singh the area would directly connect with the Central and State Governments and there would not be any hurdle in the development.
Chief Minister Chouhan addressed election meetings at Norozabad, Bharola, Rehta and Chandiya on Wednesday in favor of BJP. By-poll for Bandhavgarh assembly constituency along with Ater assembly constituency of the state is scheduled for April 9.
CM Chouhan said, “The livelihood of the laborers of the coal region is directly associated with the coal mines and they should get their wages as per their labor. With the victory of the BJP candidate Shivnarayan Singh from the constituency the area would directly get connected with the State and the Central Governments and there would be no hurdle in the development of the area.”
Chouhan further said that the by-election is being held to speed up the development and public welfare works of the area. Congress never cared for the public welfare works and kept the area and people backward because it knew that its vote bank is contained in poverty and illiteracy but the BJP making development and good governance its political goal moved the state on the path of progress and in the result the people of the state gave us mandate thrice to form the government, he added.
He said that don’t get fascinated with the Congress in the by-poll as the only thing that Congress is good at is spreading rumors.
Sometimes it says that forge Pattas are distributed sometimes it misstates that trees of Mahua are being cut. BJP has started the work of allotment of residential plots at war footing and it is committed that not a single person would remain homeless in the state, this is guarantee of the State Government, he added.
