Chief Minister Chouhan planted a Peepal plant along with MP VD Sharma on the third death anniversary of former Union External Affairs Minister Late Sushma Swaraj in her memory. Ladli Laxmi 3-year-old girl Mokshi Sharma also planted saplings along with Chief Minister Chouhan. Kachnar and Khirni saplings were also planted.
Peepal planted today is a shady tree. It purifies the environment. It has religious and Ayurvedic significance. Kachnar is a beautiful flowering tree. Nature has made many plants and trees that are full of medicinal properties, among them Kachnar is one.
The leaves, stem and flowers of this tree, which is laden with flowers after mid-March, are all useful. Kachnar is considered among beautiful and useful trees. Khirni tree is found in India in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu etc. Its fruits are like Neem fruits, they are called Khirni.
