CM’s self-employment vision empowering youth in MP

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav's vision of self-employment-led development is rapidly gaining momentum across Madhya Pradesh, with youth increasingly transitioning from job seekers to job creators. The state government’s initiative is not just about providing financial assistance, but also about offering guidance, encouragement, and recognition to empower the youth.

One such success story is that of Rohit Yadav from Betul, who has become a shining example of the transformation brought about by this vision. Rohit not only established his own enterprise but has also created employment opportunities for others, reflecting the true essence of entrepreneurship.

Under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, Rohit received a loan of Rs. 11 lakh, including a subsidy of approximately Rs. 3.5 lakh from the government. This financial support helped him launch Kanha Milk Food Industries, a milk ATM business. Today, with six delivery vehicles and five milk vending machines, his business has a monthly turnover exceeding Rs 9 lakh, and he employs 10 young individuals directly.

In addition to his milk business, Rohit has diversified by producing vermicompost from dairy waste, further boosting his income streams. His dedication to innovation and quality has earned him the trust and loyalty of customers, making his business a success.

Rohit expressed that the support from the government went beyond financial aid—it was a message of trust. “The government believes in us,” he said. He credits the self-employment approach introduced under Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s leadership for providing youth like him with a dignified path to self-reliance. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the policies that enabled his entrepreneurial journey.
