In response to the call given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi under Swachh Bharat Mission, BHEl, Bhopal on Friday organised a mass Cleanliness drive to clean the premises near Canteen number 3.
In continuation to the drive of ‘Swachh Bharat, Swachh BHEl’ mission undertaken by BHEl, ED, Bhopal, AMV Yugandhar and various General Managers; GM (WE,CS&HR), TG Chauragade, GM (TCB), S Balakrishnan, GM (Finance), NK Bhar and a large number of employees actively participated in the cleanliness drive.
Yugandhar on this occasion said that we have to adopt cleanliness in our habit.
Senior officials and employees of various divisions such as HR, TRM, FCX, EMX, SFX, ElX etc also contributed effectively. The move was supported by a huge number of employees, representatives of unions and associations. The area was made clean by shifting the waste materials, scraps etc. to dump yard. The unwanted packaging material was also removed.
A coordination committee has also been made under the chairmanship of GM (WE, CS&HR) which shall identify and take up other areas for cleanliness inside and outside factory. It has been decided that every Saturday employees would give two hours of Shramdan (voluntary labour) in this mission and would clean their premises, offices and surrounding areas.
The zeal of employees who volunteered for shramdan to keep their area clean was highly appreciated by ED, Bhopal.
