A mild musical evening ‘Jashn-e-Ghazal’ was witnessed by the Bhopal classical music lovers on Thursday. The classical singer Shubhada Jejurikar gave a spontaneous performance Live at ICCR Facebook Live.
The virtual event Jashn-e-Ghazal was organised by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) featuring renowned ghazal singer Shubhada Jejurikar, Ujjain. The musical journey of Shubhada started at the age of seven. Hailing from Bhopal, Shubhada has reached the heights receiving appreciation across the country. Belonging to a musical family she has been blessed with the natural talent of music in her genes. Since her childhood, she has been a keen learner and observer of music. She has performed in various music festivals.
Interestingly, she performed both male and female songs beautifully leaving the audience enthralled. Her performance was more like a feast for the classical music lover. Her performances took the audiences into mesmerizing heights of ecstasy anyway.
Her performances were a delight for the audience on Thursday evening. She presented enormous beautiful songs, bhajans and ghazals before the audiences. She is a cultural and musical icon of Madhya Pradesh for the past several years. Further, she has performed under various big banners and has enthralled the music lover across the nation. Whatever the genre, Shubhada presents her vocal skills wonderfully which creates an impact over the listeners. Shubhada is a pioneer in devotional songs, earthy geet, ghazals, film music, and folk music.
